Jamie enrolled in our Job Readiness Training program in 2013, and with lots of support from her New Avenues’ employment specialist Lindsey, completed her GED. Last spring Jamie became employed at  New Avenues INK and, in a short amount of time, was promoted to Assistant Manager. She is currently working full-time and partnered with a mentor to learn the basics of the Adobe programs and graphic design. Jamie is using these skills, and her experience from INK, to continue building Grimm City Pits Apparel – her own small business selling apparel for dogs and their humans.
