We are so excited for this great group of students preparing to head into college at PCC this fall!  Our Avenues to College cohort includes nine youth who are now completing a 16-week Leadership Development training.  These motivated students will attend a Leadership Development workshop once a month and meet with Avenues to College staff a minimum of two times per month, and our team will help them stay on track with their current workload and budget while helping them plan for the future. We also work with PCC and College Housing Northwest to provide housing, budget support money, and academic and financial advising as needed.

This new cohort recently participated in an overnight Wilderness Retreat that included white water rafting, hiking and sleeping and eating in the great outdoors -while the view was pretty inspiring, we think they’re a pretty inspirational bunch of young people!
