Cantillon Collaboration Sale Info (SOLD OUT)

In November 2019, Brews European Co-Chair Don Lowman visited Cantillon and helped create a unique blend exclusively for New Avenues for Youth. This gueuze consists of equal parts 1, 2, and 3-year old lambic, with the third year aged in Cognac barrels. 100% of the proceeds will benefit programs and services for homeless, at risk, and foster youth in the Portland area. New Avenues is working to support individuals on the front lines of this crisis, and your support is critical to our efforts.
WE ARE OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! A huge thank you to everyone who purchased, Kyle Olson for the label design, Rose City Label for the printing, Shelton Brothers Importers & Shelton Brothers Oregon for the delivery, and especially Brasserie Cantillon for their phenomenal support over the years! Your efforts help us toward achieving our mission of ending youth homelessness! Cheers!
We are not able to ship, so we encourage those of you who live outside of the Portland area to find a proxy. There is a specific thread on the Brews for New Avenues Facebook page to encourage this process. We have many generous local supporters, so it shouldn’t be a challenge finding someone who will help. If you are unable to find a proxy, as a last resort, please get in contact with us and we will work with you.
Distribution will begin in early August. We are working on details where we can safely and securely distribute purchases and will be in touch with you soon.
Cheers, and thanks again for your amazing support!

2020 Guest Brewers:

James and Melissa Priest from The Referend craft some of the best 100% spontaneously fermented beers this side of the Atlantic, relying on traditional methods, time, skill, and impeccable ingredient sourcing to achieve consistent excellence. On a visit to Portland that just happened to coincide with Brews a few years ago, they poured some of their creations for our guests, and we haven’t stopped inviting them back since. Their generosity is abundant, we are honored to have them and can’t wait to see what they come up with for 2020!

One of the Northwest’s most talked-about breweries, Great Notion’s hazy IPAs and culinary-inspired ales took Portland by storm when they opened in 2016. Four years on, their momentum and diversity of styles continue growing and evolving. Co-Founders James Dugan, Andy Miller, and Paul Reiter have supported Brews for New Avenues since their brewery’s inception, not only with their quality products, but with their time – providing one-of-a-kind, hands-on experiences to some of our lucky auction winners. We are thrilled to have them and to see what they have in store for us this year!  Originally hailing from San Diego, Modern Times arrived on the Portland scene in 2018 and immediately made an impression with their mastery of a wide array of styles and over-the-top taproom design. Over the past two years, they have not only seamlessly integrated into the local beer community, but through Michael Christy and Marissa Zebold, have generously supported our cause at every opportunity. We are beyond excited to have them, and look forward to some show-stopping collaborations and packages!
