Outreach to and wraparound supports for youth in East Multnomah County experiencing housing instability and homelessness; programming for LGBTQ youth, youth in foster care, and youth involved in sex trafficking
Located on the Rockwood Boys & Girls Club campus, the Youth Opportunity Center is our new service hub in East Multnomah County offering:
Alba Collaborative
ALBA mentorship and case management, family mediation support, crisis intervention and emergency housing for youth ages 9 – 17.
East Connect
Screening and access to Homeless Youth Continuum for individualized wraparound services (ages 17 – 24), emergency and transitional housing, drug and alcohol recovery and mental health support, education and job training, resource referral and navigation.
Job Readiness Training and Employment
PAVE (Promoting Avenues to Employment) offers work readiness, skill development, and job placement.
PDX-Connect
PDX-Connect provides support for youth transitioning from foster care into adulthood.
New Day
New Day offers culturally-specific mentorship and skill building for youth who have experienced sex trafficking or exploitation in the sex trades.
SMYRC – Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center
SMYRC offers culturally-specific support for LGBTQ youth and Bridge 13 community education, which helps create safer spaces for queer and trans* people of all ages.
